At 45, I am no doubt a little older than you would normally consider appropriate for a position in "young" industries (Web-design / e-commerce etc.) but undeterred, I am applying for such jobs anyway.....

I have been 'without a job' for several years. Actually, technically speaking, I have been in receipt of Income Support as a Lone Parent. However, as of 27/01/99 (my son's 16th birthday), I am now officially unemployed.

I have recently picked up HTML (3-4 months) and I am looking forward to extending my knowledge further into JavaScript and C++, particularly with respect to E-commerce.....

 

• Outworking - from Clerical / EMails, Direct mail posting to light assembly.
  (UK based, preferably Norfolk area).
  I have recent RSA Bookkeeping / IBT2 qualifications and am presently involved in a DTP2 course.
  (though I have not used any of them 'in anger' as yet.)
  I am also very self-motivated and reasonably dexterous.

 

• Warehouse / Non HGV Driving.
  (in fact, van delivery work of any kind - conventional hours only)
  Did I mention that I am computer literate?....

I have no transport of my own at present. Hence I would need to find conventional work within the confines of public transport between Norwich and Cromer, Norfolk, UK. (unless some other arrangement can be found).
